The main objective of the Module is to provide an overview of the Central American Economy and the business opportunities in order:

  1. To learn to do business in Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Belize
  2. To know business opportunities in Central America
  3. To understand how to negotiate in the Central American Markets
  4. To analyze foreign trade and foreign direct investment flows in Central America
  5. To understand the importance of the Central American Integration System (SICA)
  6. To know the Trade Agreements related to Central America
  7. To design a business plan for the Central American Markets
