The Republic of Colombia and the Northern Triangle countries (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras) initiated negotiations towards a free trade agreement (FTA) in 2006.

  1. In 2009, the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the Republic of Colombia and Guatemala entered into force
  2. Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the Republic of Colombia and El Salvador entered into force in 2010.
  3. In 2010, the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the Republic of Colombia and Honduras entered into force
