The general objectives of the Course are...
- To learn about the different types of documents used in International Trade (import and export), which
documents usually require the customs, the requirements for the various documents and how to fill in these documents correctly
- To know the FIATA international transport documents
- To identify the responsibilities of the exporter and the importer under the Incoterms® 2020
- To learn how the Incoterms® 2020 are used in International Trade transactions
- To analyse the role and functioning of Customs and the role of a customs agent
- To become familiar with the import procedures
- To know how to identify and distinguish the non-tariff measures in
international trade
- To know the different customs procedures, methods of products classification and learn to complete the customs documents
- To understand the role of the World Customs Organisation and the World Trade Organisation
- To know how to identify and distinguish the non-tariff measures (technical and
non-technical) in foreign trade (Import, Export)
