The general objectives of the “Professional Course in Foreign Trade Management” are...

  1. To learn about the different types of documents used in international trade (import and export), which documents usually require customs, requirements for various documents and how to fill in these documents correctly
  2. To know the FIATA international transport documents
  3. To identify the responsibilities of the exporter and importer under the Incoterms
  4. To learn how the Incoterms are used in international trade transactions
  5. To analyse the role and functioning of customs and the role of a customs agent
  6. To become familiar with import procedures
  7. To know how to identify and distinguish non-tariff measures in international trade
  8. To know the different customs procedures, methods of products classification and learn to complete customs documents
  9. To understand the role of the World Customs Organisation and World Trade Organisation
  10. To know how to identify and distinguish non-tariff measures (technical and non-technical) in foreign trade
