The general objectives of the “Professional Course in Foreign Trade Management” are...

  1. To learn about the different types of documents used in the international trade (import and export), which documents usually require the customs, the requirements for the various documents and how to fill in these documents correctly
  2. To know the FIATA international transport documents
  3. To identify the responsibilities of the exporter and importer under the Incoterms
  4. To learn how the Incoterms are used in the international trade transactions
  5. To analyse the role and functioning of the customs and the role of a customs agent
  6. To become familiar with the import procedures
  7. To know how to identify and distinguish the non-tariff measures in the international trade
  8. To know the different customs procedures, methods of products classification and learn to complete the customs documents
  9. To understand the role of the World Customs Organisation and the World Trade Organisation
  10. To know how to identify and distinguish the non-tariff measures (technical and non-technical) in foreign trade
