The Non-negotiable FIATA Multimodal Transport Waybill (FIATA FWB) is a multimodal transport document established by the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) for use by freight forwarders acting as a Multimodal Transport Operators (OTM).

  1. The Non-negotiable FIATA Multimodal Transport Waybill (FIATA FWB) is an international transport contract;
  2. The FIATA FWB document, as its name indicates, is not negotiable (it cannot be issued “to order of”);
  3. Being a non-negotiable document, its use in a documentary credit is not recommended;
  4. The Non-negotiable FIATA Multimodal Transport Waybill (FIATA FWB) is in compliance with the Rules of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) / ICC on Multimodal Transport Documents published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC);
