Course “How to Export to the European Union / Import from the EU” (e-learning, 2 ECTS, English).

Export to the EU (course)

The purposes of the e-learning course “How to Export to the European Union / Import from the EU” are:

  1. To know the procedures, requirements and rules necessary to export a good to the EU or to import it from the EU
  2. To identify the existing import restrictions and quotas
  3. To analyse the applicable tariffs and taxes
  4. To know the new European Customs Code
  5. To analyse the new simplified customs procedures in the EU
  6. To know the special regimes
  7. To understand the new EU Generalised System of Preferences (GSP)
  8. To know how to use the rules of origin of the Generalised System of Preferences

Aimed at anyone wishing to export goods to European Union Markets or import goods from the third countries from any EU country.

Subjects of the e-learning course “Export to the European Union”:

  1. How to Export to the EU or import from the EU
  2. The new Customs Code of the European Union (formerly: Community Customs Code)
  3. The Generalised System of Preferences of the EU
  4. The EU Export Helpdesk: The EU export/import tariffs with developing countries
  5. The Market Access Database (MADB) for the European exports to the third countries

Note: this course does not analyse the EU trade agreements with the third countries; these are studied in the course: International economic relations of the European Union.
