  2. He is the Director of the Akwa Group (petrol and gas sector).
  3. Founded in Casablanca in 1959 as “Afriquia Group,” today the Akwa Group is one of the biggest conglomerates in Morocco, operating in the petrol and gas sector, real estate, telecommunications.
  4. Aziz Akhannouch sits on the Board of the BMCE Bank founded by Othman Benjellou
  5. He is also Minister of Agriculture of Morocco. In 2013, he was Minister of Finance.
