The Moroccan businessperson Aziz Akhannouch was born in 1960 in Tafraout (Morocco).

  1. Aziz Akhannouch is the Director of the Akwa Group (petrol and gas sector)
  2. Founded in Casablanca in 1959 as “Afriquia Group,” today the Akwa Group is one of the largest conglomerates in Morocco, operating in the petrol and gas sector, real estate, telecommunications
  3. Aziz Akhannouch sits on the Board of the BMCE Bank founded by Othman Benjellou
  4. He is also Minister of Agriculture of Morocco. In 2013, Akhannouch was Minister of Finance
  5. Aziz Akhannouch is considered one of the richest men in Morocco, with an estimated net worth of 1.4 billion dollars (Forbes)
  6. Mr Akhannouch is married to Salwa Idrisshi, a Moroccan businesswoman owner of the Aksal Group (Shopping Mall)
