In Europe, Catholics are the majority in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, and San Marino. In Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Northern Ireland. Catholics account for approximately 50%.

The European Countries with the largest number of Catholics are France, Spain, Italy, and Poland.
