The student begins the Master / Doctorate in International Business, studying the subject Introduction to Foreign Trade (1 ECTS).

The goals of the module “Globalization and International Economic Organizations” are the following:

  1. To learn about the nature of exporting and difficulties that may arise
  2. To learn about Import/Export transactions, the difficulties with them and how to overcome these challenges
  3. To understand the globalization process
  4. To learn about positive and adverse effects of Globalization
  5. To explore the cultural, political, and environmental dimensions of Globalization
  6. To identify the trends towards Regionalization
  7. To learn about the trade liberalization and the formation of WTO
  8. To understand the various regional trade agreements and their relevance to both regional and world trade
  9. To explore the historical development of global trade over the last decades
  10. To learn about role of international institutions (WTO, IMF, WB) in globalization process
