The Course “Foreign Trade Assistant” is also aimed at all those people who wish to create their own company offering assistance and consulting services in Foreign Trade to export and import enterprises from anywhere in the world.

A Foreign Trade Assistant, usually works in the Back Office of an exporting or importing company, providing a series of administrative activities related to the exports and imports and supporting the export department. Generally, he/she does not have a direct contact with the final customer.

Some of the activities carried out by an Foreign Trade Assistant are: management of foreign orders, control of exports and imports, processing of International Trade documents, management of Customs Procedures, making international offers, international transport management (follow-up, analysis, freight negotiation), customer service, incident resolution, activity reports, market research, cost control and export prices...

In other words, the Foreign Trade Assistant guarantees Foreign Trade flows of an exporting or importing company, reporting directly to the director of Foreign Trade department.

Unlike a Back Office for national market, Foreign Trade Assistant must have a solid knowledge of International Trade: customs, Incoterms® 2020, management of Foreign Trade documents, international transport, documentary credits, market research, export price calculation...

In addition, Foreign Trade Assistant must be fluent in languages. The usual thing is that the Foreign Trade Assistant will be bilingual (English and Spanish), or even knows other languages such as French or Portuguese. Therefore, Student can study the Course in Foreign Trade Assistant in any of these four languages, under three modalities:

1. Only one language (for example English or Spanish)
2. Bilingual (for example, Spanish + English): the course is studied in both languages; exercises are done in Spanish. The diploma of the Professional Course will indicate: bilingual Spanish and English
3. Trilingual (for example, Spanish + English + French): the course is studied in three languages; half of the exercises are done in Spanish and the other half in French. The diploma of the Professional Course will indicate: trilingual English, Spanish and French
