  2. In 2005, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw was awarded the Padma Bhushan, for his pioneering efforts in biotechnology
  3. Kiran Mazumdar is one of the people who is dedicating more efforts to alleviate cancer in India
  4. She is one of the 100 most influential people in the World (Time Magazine)

Mazumdar-Shaw is also a Philanthropist.

  1. In 2004, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw created the Biocon Foundation focused on health and environment
