Sub-Subject Description - Christians Spiritual Leaders.

Like Hinduism, Christianity begins a phase of Ethical renewal from the 19th century.

An ethical renewal movement is laying the foundations of a new vision of ethics, especially in Christian Ethics.

The last centuries of Christian Civilization were disastrous: inquisitions, European inter-religious wars, burning witches, participation in slavery... Terrible events in the heart of Christian Civilization, these spiritual leaders begin to criticize, and planting ethical options within Christianity.

However, these Christian spiritual leaders have failed to prevent that the twentieth century was the most terrifying of humanity: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Poth, Genocides (Armenia, ex-Yugoslavia, Rwanda-Burundi), killings in China...

Many distinguished men and women have participated in this renewal (Teresa of Calcutta, Oscar Romero, Nelson Mandela...) and it would be impossible to pay them a tribute in this assay.

We will focus on analyzing some of these geniuses of humanity:
