United Nations and its specialized agencies, and became a
member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
in 1998.
Cambodia is a member of the World Bank, the
International Monetary Fund,
and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). On October 13, 2004, Cambodia became the
148th member of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
