Asian Nations (ASEAN) held in Bangkok in
2009, the Ministers noted the termination of the Joint Study on the viability
of the ASEAN - Pakistan Free Trade Area (FTA)
In 2009, total trade of the
Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) with Pakistan amounted to USD 4.3
billion. ASEAN members (Brunei Darussalam,
Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore,
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia,
Indonesia,
Malaysia and
Laos PDR)
exports to Pakistan USD 3.8 billion.
Foreign direct investment to
the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) from Pakistan in 2009 was USD 8 million.
